James Blake and Chance The Rapper have really hit it off since they first met at SXSW last year. So much so, that not only do they allegedly have a handful of tracks together, but they also shot a video for James “Life ‘Round Here” remix featuring Chano in Hertfordshire, England. Upon his return, Chance mentioned Blake being a big Wu Tang fan, perhaps explaining the minimalistic and dark aesthetics of the visuals, which help convey the record into real life as the two friends find themselves riding around the countryside in a low rider. Great execution by director Nabil and an even better record by the duo. We definitely need to hear more material by them in the future!
