Riding high off of the wave that followed his release of Follow Me Home, Jay Rock has just dropped his third visual from the project. In “Code Red” Jay raps on his upbringing in Watts, California and his association to the Bloods gang. The video is simple, letting his words do most of the talking, while revealing some of the sights and sounds of his home. With Kendrick Lamar on the hook, the record is a TDE production through and through. The first video off of FMH, was “Just Like Me“; the second visual was “Say Wassup“, a Black Hippy track and my favorite on the album, is also a must see.
