Yesterday, the first video from Kanye West’s Yeezus, “Black Skinhead,” leaked to the masses. Before being taken down, the fine people over at Rap Dose ripped the video for posterity. Somewhat similar in style to the videos projected during the early Yeezus marketing push, the video for “Black Skinhead” is pretty minimalistic in its plain black and white look. What’s interesting is the main figure in the video appears to be animated. Nevertheless, the visuals stay true to the album’s insistence on keeping the production as stripped down and simple as possible. Enjoy the video for as long as it’s up. Hopefully, the fans will dig what Kanye’s doing, because I feel like the rest of Yeezus‘ videos will be similar in style.
