Kendrick Lamar met up with Carson Daly while in Austin, Texas for SXSW. The two had a good conversation as they discussed Kendrick’s upbringing in Compton, making music that doesn’t sound like N.W.A., the pressure of a debut album, and going to a video shoot with Dr. Dre and Tupac when he was 8 years old.
