L.E.P. Bogus Boys

For Chicago’s L.E.P., the key to unlocking the hard-ironed gates of the music world’s goodside has been their consistent output of movie-like music videos.  The duo of Moonie and Count are like the Henry Hill and Jimmy “The Gent” Conway of Hip Hop, crafting songs of gangsters that still commit their share of crimes, yet at least do some with a some sense of remorse.  Or, at least they have a sense that they should have a sense of remorse, even if it’s not actually there.  Their latest , “Church Is In Session”, follows suit and tells the story of L.E.P. repenting for their sins, although it’s unclear in both the music and the video if their repenting is to fulfill their souls, or just ease their minds.
