Coming live from Australia, Lupe Fiasco speaks candidly to MusicFeeds.TV about his new album and some of the statements in makes throughout his newest LP.  The album, which releasing in America on Sept. 25th, carries a subtitle of The Great American Rap Album.  Lupe explained the title saying, ” It’s less about the album being great, and it’s more about the greatness of America and what that means. That’s what the album is about, it’s about America.”

Lupe also said that he’ll soon start on the roll out for part 2 of the LP, which we may see around Christmas time. He originally wanted to release Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album as a double-disc, but Atlantic wasn’t having it.  And about his tenuous relationship with his label, Lupe said, “It’s coming to close, but we’re definitely going out strong, definiteley going out with good music. I’m definitely not going to cheat the fans or shortchange myself or shortchange my art for the sake of pissing my label off.”
