Mick Boogie has done a lot of mixtapes throughout his career, yet has never made one centering on the music of the Beastie Boys. It’s something he always wanted to do, and with the Beastie’s recently being inducted into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame, finally felt the time was right. The mixtape is entitled Grand Royal, and will drop tomorrow. For the mixtape’s cover, Mick Boogie linked with Jonathan Mannion to recreate the Beastie Boys’ iconic cover of Paul’s Boutique.
