“Let me shine a light on who is Outasight.”
Outasight adds to visuals to “Life or Something Like It” from his recently release Figure 8 EP. As the quote above illustrates, the record is an autobiographical one as Outasight takes listeners back to the early days of hopping the train, to his time now traveling, doing shows, and making music, sometimes wondering the exact reasons and end result. But, this is life, or something like it.
He told me in our last interview, “To say it’s an easy path for any artist or musician to come out and try and be successful in today’s climate is tough. I’m very blessed that I accomplished the things that I’ve been able to accomplish, and I know I have a lot to go… Aspiring to be whatever you want to be is such a tough road, and you run into so many damn questions, and doubt. Over the past year I went through it a bunch. I’m just a 20 something dude, I just know the feeling of ‘what exactly am I doing here?'”
