The trailer for The Protector 2 featured Muay Thai, real-life Sagat Tony Jaa kicking ass… lots and lots of ass. While the film has been available on iTunes and On Demand for some time now, it’ll be receiving a theatrical release on May 2nd. To help build up some extra hype for its big screen debut, a new clip has been released featuring Jaa brawl with the one, the only, The RZA.
It’s no secret that The RZA has been a huge fan of martial arts films, but now he’s getting his hands dirty, portraying the main antagonist in The Protector 2. He might not be as technically proficient as most other action stars, but there’s a certain level of entertainment to see The RZA go toe to toe against Tony Jaa, one of action films’ best current martial artists.
