The Palmer Squares recently dropped a video for their collaboration with Umphrey’s McGee, “The Plot Thickens.” The socially-conscious duo wax about finances and how money pervades and poisons art, especially in music circles. The video toys with this idea as Terminal Knowledge strips out of his business suit as a way of shedding himself of the corporate persona, setting a mirror for Acumental to put the suit right back on in an attempt to buy in (or be sold) on the vague promise of money for his art.
The Palmer Squares’ next project, Finna, is set to come out in the fall.
