Lupe Fiasco

In his latest episode The Truth, Elliot Wilson tackles Lupe Fiasco and his most recent controversial move at an Obama inauguration event last weekend.  As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, Lupe was booked to perform at an Obama party where he pulled a Public Enemy type of move, performing a 30-plus minute version of the record “Words I Never Said”.  As you probably also know, that record is defiantly anti-establishment and contains lyrics directly aimed at the president.  Lupe could have performed the record once and gone onto the next record, but that’s not the case.  After turning it into “the song that doesn’t end,” Lupe’s performance was terminated by the event organizers and the youtube spread like wildfire.  Wilson discusses the event and asks the question, “does Lupe love controversy?”  I’ll let you see his answer below, but I’m pretty sure by now, you can figure it out.
