Have you heard of Thelonious Martin. If you frequent this site, then it’s most likely you have. The 19 year-old producer is currently blazing through Chicago’s Hip Hop scene, working with artists ranging from SaveMoney’s Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper, to Sir Michael Rocks, and more. Over the weekend Thelonious participated in a Closed Session with Action Bronson, and has a slew of projects in the pipeline. One of those projects is an album with Columbia College’s student-run record label AEMMP Records. Thelonious linked with the students earlier this fall, and together, the label will release Class President, a project featuring all original productions and some of the city’s top talent.
