Two weeks ago we introduced you to the Lexus and Microsoft Fresh Perspectives project, and have been introducing you to the artists selected to participated ever since.  Today we have the an introduction to the final 3 artists, which include photographer Tod Seelie, singer/songwriter V, and the painter Augustine Kofie. They joined paper sculptor Jeff Nishinaka, chef Craig Thornton, and designer Robert James, in crafting a new piece art in 24 hours, sticking to the themes of “escape”, “challenge”, and “empower”.

Watch the videos below to get a glimpse into the creative process from all three fresh perspectives artists.  On April 18th, the full piece of art will be revealed via the newly minted Fresh Perspectives custom site on MSN.com.  As an FP ambassador, we’ll looks at all the finished pieces, as well as more interviews with each artist, and much more.

Tod Seelie was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to NYC in 1997.  It’s no coincidence then that he is known for going anywhere to capture the right photo.  His career has taken him to 20 countries spanning 5 continents, and his work has appeared in publications such as Rolling Stone, The Vice Guide to Travel, Spin, Thrasher, and more.  For the Fresh Perspectives project, Tod created to the themes of “escape” and “challenge”.

V is the single letter moniker of Veronika Bozeman, an up and coming singer and songwriter.  She is currently working on her debut album, which will carry co-production from Timothy Bloom. For The Fresh Perspectives project, V created to the themes of “empower” and “challenge”.

Augustine Kofie is a product of the L.A. graffiti scene, and known by many as Kofie ‘One.  His street art roots, as well as the accompanying music and culture continue to influence Kofie’s works.  His paintings also reflect his passions for architecture, the iconography of the 1960’s, as well as form and shape typography.  For the Fresh Perspectives project Kofie created to the themes of “escape” and “empower”.  Watch each video below.
