I’m a sucker for time lapse videos. The dedication and intricate level of detail that goes into making them go far beyond the short period of time the videos run for. Take, for instance, this new time-lapse video shot from the Yosemite National Park. Shot by photographers Colin Delehanty and Sheldon Neill, Project Yosemite began in January 2012 as a join project between the two where they hiked more than 200 miles over the course of 10 months to capture images for the video, which can be seen below.

Set to an M83 song, “Lower Your Eyelids to Die with the Sun,” the video shares some of the amazing landscape Delehanty and Neill shot. It’s hard to believe that the video consists of a plethora of continuous shots to make up one seamless video (outside of the scene changes, of course). Find five minutes of your day to watch the Project Yosemite video, because it’s definitely awe-inspiring and probably the most beautiful thing you’ll witness today.
