I’ve always found Wavves to give off a “Screw You” vibe. He does what he does, and he likes what he does, and if you don’t, well… who cares. It gives the mans music an immediacy that you don’t find with most artists, but also a hit-or-miss quality. If you enjoy a song, you’re part of it, if you have an issue with a something, its an immediate kiss-off. “Post Acid” is just that, for 1/5 of the song he essentially wails into the microphone, its carefree, energetic, and “punk” in that word’s best definition.
