I was pretty surprised when I first saw the new album art for their upcoming album. Now it’s your turn to be surprised. The album, entitled Hurley, has the mug of actor Jorge Garcia on the cover. Garcia played the goofy and likeable Hurley on ABC’s Lost. When asked about the cover, Rivers Cuomo replied, “We just wanted to use that picture of Jorge Garcia’s face on the cover. It’s such an amazing album cover, and we didn’t want to have any other words on it, so we just figured everyone was going to call it Hurley, so that’s what we call it.” The album is due out September 14 on Epitaph.
