The Hundreds and Beastie Boys

Note to self: If you ever get the chance to purchase a Delorean in the future, do it!

The Beastie Boys have been the talk of the town lately as the world readies for the release of their new album, Hot Sauce Committee Part 2.  The album comes with a star-studded short film, Fight For Your Right Revisited, which follows the Beastie Boys out of the “Fight For Your Right To Party” video and into more mayhem as they eventually the future versions of themselves.  The future Beastie Boys arrive in a Delorean, and as it turns out, the car used in the film belongs to Bobby Hundreds of The Hundreds.  He loaned the Beastie Boys his car for the video, and was on set.  He put together a great recap with pics and commentary.

“There were really only about 20-30 people around, but a constant buzz of excitement and anticipation that hummed throughout the day.  Everyone involved understood the importance and gravity of the video. Some of the crew told me they’ve been working in the industry for decades and this was the biggest project of their career.  No cameras allowed onset, not even cameraphones, no tweeting, no texts, nothing.  Super top secret, and I think they did a great job of keeping everything controlled and confidential until the video’s release last week.  Aside from the Beasties’ own photographer, I was the only one onset to document the production, so hope you feel as lucky as I did to get this kind of access.”
