I got put on to XLarge in the early/mid 90’s through various Beastie Boys songs/videos. Mike D was a strong carrier of the brand, repping the clothes in music videos, photo shoots, magazine spreads, and dropping references in Beastie Boys songs. Mike D was also amongst the founders of the brand. Yesterday Hypebeast posted a look at XLarge’s forthcoming spring/summer 2011 headwear pieces, and they look dope. See more pics below.
