XXL revealed their 2011 cover today, putting a stop to various predictions and debates on who would make the coveted cover. The 2011 Freshmen class is the 4th for XXL, which selects up and comers to watch over the next calendar year. This year’s class includes Yelawolf, CyHi Da Prynce, Lil’ B, Big K.R.I.T., Mac Miller, Diggy Simmons, and Kendrick Lamar who have all proven in one form or another to possess a star quality. Lesser knowns include Meek Mill, Fred The Godson, YG, and Lil’ Twist. Only time will tell who will prosper, and who may not. Definitely some heavy hitters here.
