Young Man is an artist from our own backyard, but it took me going through Hypem, and then reading an interview with BeachTapes to find him. But, I found him and his music, and I like it. So I am going to share. “Up So Fast” is a campfire ready jam with the right mix of vocal distortion and musical haze that combines sounds of an early sunrise. Young Man sticks to themes as well, repeating that he’s a boy, he’s a real big boy. The title of his last release, from which “Up So Fast” springs, is Boy, so he comes full circle.
