Yves Saint Laurent: Spring/Summer 2011 Sneaker Preview (Video)
Well, early pass? Yves is here with a teaser of their styles for the the summer of '11. A vast selection of Chukka's with some high-top options, all of these are looking extremely clean. Dropping sometime this winter...I'm eyeballing the red high top joints.

Of Montreal: "Sex Karma" (Live On Jimmy Fallon)
The Athens, Georgia group rips up "Fallon" with Solange Knowles, performing "Sex Karma" from their new album False Priest, which is due September 14th. Front man Kevin Barnes noted that this album is heavily R&B influenced, and that they scrapped midi keyboards and sequencers for this album, using live drums, strings and piano's. With the only two guest features on the album being Solange and Janelle Monáe, this is looking to be like a promising soulful project to look forward to this fall.

You know…Damascus. The Gorillaz did a show in the Syrian capital at the Damascus Citadel which is an incredible fortress that is over 1,000 years old. Chris Albarn and the band apparently went to Damascus to record the National Orchestra for Arabic Music and put the material on “Plastic Beach.” Not many tours make stops in the “City of Jasmin” but the Murdoc Niccals, the Gorillaz bassist says that their performance, “shows that it is possible to perform there. This shouldn’t be a one-off gig—it shoul be the start of many, many bands.” Check out the performance at NPR
