Vans California Era 45 CA

I've been on a Vans kick lately, and the Cali-based surk/skate brand keeps the heat coming week after week. One of the benefits of being an enormous brand is that sheer multitude of product available on the market at any given time. here's a new style of the Vans California Era in a two-tone leather combo. Three colorways are available including a navy/tan, red/white, and a black/red. All three are looking extremely fresh and should be available worldwide shortly. Check out all 3 color ways after the jump.

L.E.P. Bogus Boys: "Trading Places" Video

Here is another video from Chicago's LEP Bogus Boys. Telling the story of an eye for an eye, "Trading Places" is really well done, and is yet another strong showing from Coodie and Chike. See it below, and look for LEP's new project to drop on Halloween.
Swollen Members: "Fresh Air"

"You don't want to see my boys get Beastie, Rick Rubin."
Here's something new from Swollen Members, British Columbia best Hip Hop output ever.... The Members are about to release a new album entitled Dagger Mouth, which they say is going to be dropping in 2011. On Nov. 4th they will hit the road for a slew of West Coast dates that will see them play 7 shows in Colorado alone. Even more interesting is that their supporting act will be Saigon, who just signed to their Suburban Noize label and will finally be releasing his debut album, The Greatest Story Never Told. Grab it below.
J. Cole: "I'm On It"

"Trying to rock that ass to sleep like pajamas."
J. Cole take elements of "Kinda Like A Big Deal" on his new track, "I'm On It", sound Pusha T-ish, over a barrage of drums. J. Cole's rap fits into the track well, transmitting his sense of direction and hunger. Cole's been incubating for a while now since capturing attention with last summer's appearances on The Blueprint III and Revolutions Per Minute. Don't let the Roc Nation affiliation fool you, Cole is not Drake #2 as he was lazily labeled by some following the release of his mixtape, The Warmup. Cole is rough around the edges from his raspy voice, to his lyrics that often tackle poverty and social issues rather than consumerism, or self-reflective ventures into the world of emotions.

Best Coast: "Boyfriend" Official Video

I loved this song the first time I heard it way back when. I thought for sure there was a video already, but time has proven me wrong. Check out the official video for Best Coast's "Boyfriend" after the jump.
Redman: "Defjammable"

"Don't gas me, I live near Amoco."
I posted on Twitter a little while ago that Saigon was one of my favorite emcees, I think Redman holds a similar position for me. His presence on the beat separates him from a lot of other rappers, and no matter what, you know it's Redman when he appears on the track. This is something new where Red ponders the question of where Hip Hop would be without the R? He also does some singing. Grab it below.
