LA's Warpaint have infused their first single off their first longplayer, The Fool, with an intense sense of longing. The vocals, the guitar, drum, slowly fade away, holding on a second too long, almost clinging. It's a beautiful sound that lingers in your head. The song draws you in, evokes the song title, catches you in the undertow, dragging you with it wherever it decides to go. The Fool is out now on Rough Trade.

The Black Keys: "Tighten Up" Live on Jools Holland
The Black Keys hit up The Jools Holland show over in the UK, and performed their jam "Tighten Up". The Black Keys are one of my favorite bands, and their 2010 LP, Brothers has to be at the top of the list of album of the year.
Iron Solomon: "Rule #4081" feat Cassidy
We're all familiar with Industry Rule #4080, which centers on the shadiness of record company people. Iron Solomon adds #4081 to the mix, which centers on what you need as a rapper to make it in the business. Cassidy is on hand for further explanation, and the new rule is below in audio form. Solomon debuted this on Peter Rosenberg's show on Hot 97, where he also kicked a freestyle. Check both after the jump.

InfinitiRock, is and 18 year-old college student from NYC. I met him this past weekend in Boston where he was opening up for Blu. Drawing lot's of influence from Flying Lotus, Daedelus and The Gaslamp Killer the young beat maker is a clear product of this new era of experimental hip-hop instrumentalism.
