Here is another gem from my upcoming mixtape with Columbia College. The full project will be released digitally and physically at the end of October and features exclusives from the likes of Naledge, The Primeridian, Mikkey Halsted, Scheme, Rhymefest, YP, Vic Mensa, Mic Terror and more of Chicago’s finest. I was narrowing down the final submissions when this joint from The 80’s Babies (Tall Black Guy and Shogun) hit my inbox. Normally I don’t accept submissions for a project so late, but “Control Our Block” was too good not to include. West Coast emcees Crooked I and Knocturnal join the 80’s Babies on this empowering track that originally appeared on their summer release Sonic Music. Grab it below.
