I love hemp. It has a number of uses and many are surprised to learn that it was one of the first American cash crops. Vans shows their patriotism by employing the fine fiber on two crispy pairs of Vans Authentic shoes for the Fall 2010 season. Available in a brown or gray color way, both styles feature matching laces with some nice piping around the sole. The gray color way has a matching vulcanized sole, while the brown color way features a black sole. To add some icing on the cake, Vans utilized 40% post consumer rubber for the project. Heady!
