DJ Honda is a Japanese turntablist/producer, who came out of Japan’s American Rock scene to reach prominence as one of Hip Hop’s most respected and skilled DJ’s. Beginning with his first compilation record, h in 1995, Honda’s series of albums have included a connection between his beats and emcees such as Mos Def, Common, Redman, Jeru The Damaja and more. Now in its fourth edition, Honda again turns to Mos Def for the lead single, “Magetic Arts”, for h IV dropping on August 5th. The two produced the hit “Travellin’ Man” in 1997 for h II.
