As the nation sets their ears on our scene here in Chicago, Rockie Fresh’s name steadily appears as a powerful player in helping birth this new movement. Rockie recently sat down with MTV to discuss his new mixtape which is titled Electric Highway, as well as his budding relationship with the Bawse himself Rick Ross. Rockie Told MTV, “I always want to do original music even if it’s a mixtape, so it’s definitely a free album, but all of the records are going to be original. With me getting older and seeing different parts of the world, my content is always going to be evolving, so this is going to be the peak of Rockie Fresh.” Ross recently shouted out Rockie on Hot97 and just hours after the shout-out from Ross, Rockie told MTV News “That was crazy…Me and him, we’ve been talking a lot back and forth.
