David Choe’s recent trip to Afghanistan was captured by photographer Estevan Oriol for the latest issue of Juxtapoz magazine. The graffiti artist had his entire trip documented, and this series of photos were the ones that weren’t able to make the print issue. The photos that Estevan took show Choe in a variety of settings, and is seen creating art, interacting with locals, and visiting parts of Afghanistan that have been affected by war. Oriol captured some very interesting images and gave us a small glimpse of Afghanistan. If these weren’t able to make the cut, I am interested to see the photos that did make the issue.
