It’s fucking cold out here. I don’t even know how I’m going to walk my dog tomorrow. Seriously. That’s keeping me up at night. The other thing keeping me up at night, is my passion for this new EP from Ajani Jones and BoatHouse, ONE PUNCH.
This EP started to take shape in the late summer or early fall as Ajani and BoatHouse started meeting up at SoundScape, throwing on Anime and just vibing. They discovered a shared chemistry and decided to turn attentions to a proper project. ONE PUNCH is short and powerful. There are no wasted bars. No wasted beats.
No joke, one listen to this EP and you will hear the passion and urgency. Ajani is NICE in a way emcees are normally NICE right now.
