All morning I’ve been listening to Anna Ternheim’s last LP, the August of ’09 release, Leaving On A Mayday. The album was produced by Bjorn of Peter Bjorn and John, and has definitely helped me start my day on a good note. Bjorn’s production keeps things moving,m while Ternheim proves herself as a singer/songwriter. Not that there was much proving to do, as Anna’s been successfully making music overseas since ’04. Here first U.S. offering was 2008’s Halfway to Fivepoints, which gave us the tune, “You Mean Nothing To Me Anymore”. That’s the jam at Ann performed in November, and she released this live video of the performance on NYE. Check it out below.
