Mick Jenkins is a new emcee that I've become a fan of over the last couple months. The Chicago resident is prepping to drop a new mixtape in April by the name of Trees & Truths. The project arose from back porch freestyle sessions and discussions between Mick and friends, who would often share stories about living in Chicago and all that comes with it.
