Supreme Regime: "L'ovely" (prod. Mulatto Beats)
After Sloan Peterson dropped at the beginning of the summer, Supreme Regime has been working hard to elevate their name in Chicago's young Hip-Hop scene. In the mix were a few solo tracks, dropped here and there, but a team effort had been missing, up until now. "L'ovely" sees a verse from each member, most notably Carl, who hasn't been on a crew cut yet. Production is handled in house by Mulatto Beats, who handles the sample that christens the tracks name magically. Look out for more from the crew in coming months, listen and enjoy "L'ovely" below.
[Video] Derek Wise: "The Prolog"
Toronto MC Derek Wise is a new name, but when someone rolls through with a track like "The Prolog" and some ill accompanying visuals, I never have a problem giving them some shine. The track has an larger than life feel, with some big horn sounds providing the backbone for some up-tempo snares that push the track throughout. Look for the track on his upcoming project, Vacay, due out September 8th.

Travi$ Scott: "Old English" featuring King Chip
Travi$ Scott's Owl Pharoah has been on my radar ever since he dropped "Light (Love Sick)" and the accompanying visuals back in January of this year. Since then, my anticipation has grown as I've seen the young artist from Houston link with Lex Lugar, T.I., grab a cameo on Kanye West's Cruel Summer and now work with King Chip. "Old English" follows along with the sound heard on his other tracks, dark and ominous with heavy drums and a deep bass line. Stay on the lookout for his album as well as information on possible signings, because it's gonna happen sooner or later.
[Beat Tape] D/WILL: Beat Emporium - Cartoon Chapter 2
Kansas City producer D/WILL has followed up his release of Beat Emporium: Cartoon with a second chapter, still inspired by the same Saturday morning cartoons that so many of us grew up on. Harkening back to the Golden Era, the smooth beats are a great listen on a lazy afternoon. Check out and download the whole tape below.
[Video] Frank Ocean: "Pyramids" (NSFW)
After the release of Frank's huge success that is Channel Orange, the Odd Future crooner now releases the highly anticipated video for his track "Pyramids". Directed by Nabil, the visuals tell a story that is gorgeous and abstract at the same time. Beginning with a large dose of Absinth, Frank Ocean works his ways through the night, ending in a desert with John Mayer grinding out chords on his guitar. The "Pyramids" video is put together with the same care and attention to detail as Channel Orange, and deserves a view below.
