Sterling Haze x Kami de Chukwu: "Domino Effect" (prod. ColdeSack)
Savemoney rolls through on this glorious Friday afternoon with a new track, linking Kami de Chukwu, Sterling Haze and beatsmith ColdeSack. The low tempo production on "Domino Effects" works well for the darker tones that are underlying the track. Haze speaks on his work towards the final goal of signing, and exerting his own will on his circumstances, "life ain't picture perfect, but I'm painting mine". Chukwu goes off the abstract as usual, leaving you to wonder if he's talking about the journey in his head or the life he walks through everyday. It's a dope track with more than a few layers of understanding, check it out and download below.
Kami de Chukwu: "Mob Mosh" featuring Monster Mike & Alex Wiley
The Village and Savemoney collide on "Mob Mosh" as Kami enlists Alex Wiley and Monster Mike to grind out a track with him. "Mob Mosh" is an under appreciated gem off of Chukwu's recently released debut tape LIGHT. If you have yet to listen to the tape, make sure to do so, as it demonstrates a range of skills coming from yet another young Chicagoan. If you'd like more convincing, also listen to the Hippie Sabotage produced "Mob Mosh" below.
Kanye West, Jay-Z & Big Sean: "Clique" (prod. Hit-Boy)
"My girl a superstar all from a home movie"
Kanye West and Hov have decided to let Big Sean into the clique, and with Hit-Boy backing them up, we all knew the outcome was going to be crack. Now it's here, and it is indeed fire. With Cruel Summer looming large on the horizon, we have "Clique", along with the other releases, to sate us until September 18th. Check the track out below and at KanyeWest.com.

Most posts about Dominic Lord start off something like "Ex-A$AP member", but at this point that association is old news. Having left the crew some time ago, Lord is his own entity and a multifaceted artist at that. His range runs from audio to visual, considering he directed the original video for "Pierce" (below); helped design theVSVP Collection (A$AP x Black Scale); and with the music he's created as a producer and MC.
Enough yammering though, today he released the remix to his debut track "Pierce", tweaking the original Hudson Mohawke beat with some Grimes and enlisting Pusha Ton's help. A feature that isn't surprising when you find out that Dominic has teamed with Steven Victor, Pusha T's manager. If his current body of work and the folks he has alligned himself with are any indication, Dominic Lord has a big future ahead of him. Look for Lord to continue collaborating with top notch artists like these two and his Fashion Show EP soon. Listen below.

[Mixtape] Joey Bada$$: Rejex
Joey Bada$$ released 1999 earlier this year, sparking much debate on whether or not it was the best mixtape of the year and/or a return to classic stylings with a modern touch. Now with a ProERA tape on the way, Joey has dropped 1999 Rejex, a collection of old tracks and those that didn't make 1999. He penned a statement about the compilation, reflecting that he wanted to show fans how he's grown from Joey B4da$$ (Joey Before The $$) into Joey Bada$$ (now he's paid). Check out his statement below, as well as download and stream the tape.
1999 rejex is a compilation of tracks that didn’t make it to my debut mixtape1999 (obviously). I decided to put this project together because I have a lot of unreleased material that I didn’t want to keep from the ears of my fans and supporters. I also have a couple of tracks on here I did when I was 15 years old (“little rachel”, “indubitable”, and “silent knight”) and I want to show people the progress I’ve made in a couple of years. The remaining songs (“flowers pt. I”, “catharsis”, “panty raid”, “fantum” and “update”) are tracks I dropped prior to the release of ’99 as promo only. I look at rejex as my more experimental side compared to ’99. Putting together these two projects even taught me a lil sumchin about my evolution as an artist and individual. Watch me go from “Joey B4 DA $$” to the “Joey BA DA $$”…… If you know what eye mean.. Haha – Joey

Erick Arc Elliot: "French" (prod. The Soundmen)
As part of The Flatbush Zombies, Erick Arc Elliot has played a backseat role to Meech and Juice, abstaining from rhyming but producing "Thug Waffle", "S.C.O.S.A." and "LakerPaper". Now he's let loose some solo material with "French". The track is not slated to be on his upcoming project Been Here Before, residing as a B-side, but is a great preview of things to come. Look for the project this fall and listen below.
[Video] Mani Coolin': "The Highest" featuring Chip Gnarly
There are a lot of sets in LA. A few get most of the shine, others have been quietly grinding out classic projects, and then there are those who have yet to break into the spotlight. Mani Coolin falls into the last category, a young MC from the City of Angles who is pushing for his time. "The Highest" features Chip Gnarly and comes off of his last tape For The Moments, a project with features from Casey Veggies and his good friend Niko G4. Anyways, what I mean to say is check the video below and don't be surprised to hear about Mani in the future.

Audible Doctor: "Resonate" featuring Chuuwee
As a part of the Brown Bag All-Stars, Audible Doctor has produced some great Hip Hop, much of it harkening back to the glory days. Now he's linked up with arguably today's best lyricist and purveyor of the classics, Chuuwee, for "Resonate". While they may hareld from opposite coasts, they share passion for the music and the collective love is felt throughout the track. Self produced by Audible Doctor, the vibes are right on this one, make sure to check it out below and cop the Doctor's free EP I Think That... on September 25th.
