[Mixtape] Kami de Chukwu: Light

After cranking out a steady stream of singles and hitting the pages of RH with a FirstLook, Kami de Chukwu is ready to release his debut project Light. The Savemoney member came to the spotlight earlier this year when he collaborated with Preston San over a Hudson Mohawke beat to create "Scrapemoney". It was a great debut of things to come; since then Chukwu has proven to be a versatile and creative artist, showcasing a multitude of styles. Light production from Thelonious Martin, Coldesack, THEMPeople and Jonwayne, with guest appearances from Chance the Rapper, Caleb James, Brian Fresco, Joey Purps and Preston San as well as Kembe X. The Savemoney Army came out strong on this one, stream and download Light below.

Casey Veggies: "Y.N.M" featuring Niko G4 & Rocket Da Goon

"Y.N.M" is the first track that Casey Veggies has released since his drop of Customized Greatly V.3, which was a really dope project (Check "Garden"). Therefore Veggies had to drop something worth listening to and delivers with "Y.N.M". Casey, Niko G4 and Rocket Da Goon trade bars over Roosevelt's turnt up production, where he mixes Lugar drums and driving keys. Both features were names I had never heard before, via his Tumblr Casey identified them as "the homies since middle school". But they didn't get on the track simply because of that connection, which they prove. Check it out below.

[Video] Jarred A.G.: "Dirty Diamonds"

"Dirty diamond lifestyle, we don't give a f*ck dog"

Jarred A.G. first hit our site with the audio of "Dirty Diamonds", where he hopped onto an AraabMuzik instrumental to rip it a new one, now he's followed it up quickly with the visuals. No word on what the newcomer is planning next, but I like his sound so we at RH will be looking forward to hearing more material from yet another budding Chicago citizen.

[Video] Caleb James: "Wildn Out"

Earlier today we posted the radio rip of "Wildn Out". Only a few hours later and we've received the visuals for the soulful trac, directed of Young Wonder. "Wildin' Out" is a youthful anthem, all about living it up and making dubious decisions, mirrored perfectly in the visuals. Set at a house party, Caleb rips the track with ease and fits into the scene naturally; there's nothing corny, forced and overdone about the time everyone is having. Cameos come from most of Savemoney Army and everyone looks like they're having a blast; a great time in a great city. Check it out below and stay tuned for Ground Up, releasing this upcoming weekend.

Mic Terror: "Haterville Bounce" & "The Heauxs Love Me"

For the past two weeks, Mondays have been Terrible, that is they've marked the release of the first two installments of Mic Terror's series, #MondaysAreTerrible. Last week it was the video for "The Heauxs Love Me" and one week prior it was the video for "Haterville Bounce". As it turns out, the former is the B-side to the latter, and now we have CDQs for both. Listen and download below, and check back next Monday for more of Mic's dope rhymes.

Caleb James: "Wildn Out" [Radio Rip]

Caleb James makes some soulful sh*t, that's what you should take away from this post. On "Wildin' Out", the latest leak from Ground Up, he samples a soulful hook and proceeds to ride the laid back beat with ease. The backdrop for his rhymes is a product of Caleb James and production crew THEM People's collaboration. While this premiered on WGCI over the weekend and there is unfortunately still no CDQ, but Ground Up releases next Sunday, so the wait will be over soon.

Legit: "Wack Bitches x Hood Weave"

"Wack Bitches x Hood Weave" is the latest drop from Legit's New Shit Saturday release series and it see the lyricist go in over one hell of a smooth beat, something he is extremely experienced at doing. Legit will continue pushing his music series every Saturday through the end of the summer, something he discussed in his #FirstLook interview, until he gears up for the release of his next project, which remains untitled as of now. John Legend: "Tonight (Remix)" featuring Pusha T

Rolling on with G.O.O.D. Fridays, Kanye and family have released a remix to John Legend's recent single "Tonight (Best You Ever Had)", with an added verse from Pusha T. Far from my favorite of the G.O.O.D. Friday releases, this track falls into a different category and appeals to a different crowd. However the strength of John Legend's voice can't be ignored and it is good to see him collaborating with his label mates again, it had been a while. No word on whether or not this remix will be featured on Cruel Summer. Listen and download below.
