[Video] Vic Mensa: "Orange Soda"

It seems like Vic Mensa has been channeling his inner-Kel Mitchell with the latest video for his song, "Orange Soda." A few weeks after he came out with "Did It B4," Mensa's back with the Verluxe-directed video for the next single from his upcoming mixtape, INNANETAPE. The song has a relaxed R&B vibe with a smooth bass line holding the rhythm down behind Mensa's vocal delivery.

You can check out "Orange Soda" below. Remember, INNANETAPE is coming out super soon, but you can catch Mensa and the rest of the SaveMoney Army tonight at FakeShoreDrive's Red Bull Sound Select show at the Double Door. Information on that is here.

Continuing on with our long list of summer festival lineups, North Coast has added some new artists to their already large list of musicians. After the mayhem that will be Spring Awakening, Pitchfork, and Lollapalooza, but before Riot Fest, will be the North Coast Music Festival. Serving to be the summer's last hold on music festivals, this year's North Coast is shaping up to be a solid way to spend your weekend before the leaves begin to drop.

New additions have been announced to the lineup that will now feature Danny Brown, RL Grime, Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Midnight Conspiracy, Flatbush Zombies, and more. In addition to the musical additions, North Coast has also made official partnerships with the Hard Rock Hotel and Crowne Plaza for those traveling into Chicago for the festival.

[Video] De La Soul: "Get Away" (feat. The Spirit of Wu Tang)

De La Soul is back! Following their new motion to release a new song every month this year, "Get Away" gets the music video treatment. Featuring a Wu-Tang and RZA hook sample, the classic group delivers a statement on modern hip hop, opening the song with a strong proclamation: "And like the Wu, we bring it to you in the purest form/ We reside far away from the norms."

The video, which you can watch below, was directed by Lenny Bass and Kris Merc. The group is digital overlaid on a Rubik's Cube while they deliver their verses. There's some really good post-production here with the digital effects used with the Rubik's Cube, especially with how the concept matches the lyrical content. De La Soul's back, and they're ready to take their hip hop crowns back.

Manny P: "This Is Where" (prod. by Savier)

A few weeks ago, Manny P didn't crumble with his debut, "Crumbled." In fact, the very solid first look at the rapper set the stage for Manny P to shine. With his latest drop, "This Is Where," he dials everything back to a personal, more emotional tone. What results is an intimate look at a side most rappers are scared of exploring, let alone displaying in a song. Paired well with Manny P's emotional exploration is Animuse's Savier's stripped down beat.

Check out "This Is Where" below.

Manny P is back for a second round with " This Is Where". The setting rest on a more personal level, exploring the trials and hurdles experienced rising from a child.

[Trailer] Machete Kills

http://youtu.be/0_IjM63FH2o

Update: An English language trailer has been added.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet so everybody can just go straight to what's important...

Machete Kills, the sequel to Robert Rodriguez's 2010 action/exploitation B-movie, Machete, had its first trailer drop. Expect more of the same ridiculous, over-the-top, and insanely entertaining action sequences as found in the original film. The sequel is directly hired by the President to stop a crazy billionaire arms dealer set on wreaking havoc across the country.

My favorite aspect of the sequel? The lovely Sofia Vergara (Modern Family) showcasing boob guns, kind of similar to the Fembots in Austin Powers, but much more badass. The film also features Charlie Sheen returning to his birth name, Carlos Estevez, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Cuba Gooding, Jr, Lady Gaga (really), Antonio Banderas, and Amber Heard.

Machete Kills will slay movie audiences on its theatrical release September 13.

Michael Bay Woke Up in a New Bugatti for New Transformers 4 Car Models

Update: An official look at the aforementioned Camaro has been released. It has been added to the gallery.

Where are the car/Transformers fans at? As if the past week in Hollywood wasn't already full of car fascination, Yahoo pulled the covers off of a few of the new Autobot car models in Michael Bay's upcoming Transformers 4 sequel. Somebody on the production team must be an Ace Hood fan, because one of the new models used is a Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse featuring 1,200 horsepower and a $2.4m price tag. Also featured is a green C7 Corvette Stingray, which could be an update on Autobot Sideswipe. Finally, the new Optimus Prime truck was featured, custom-made by Western Star, making the Autobot leader look more beefier and powerful than his Transformers: Dark of the Moon model. Bleeding Cool also found photos of a black and yellow Camaro, leading to speculation that this could be the new model for fan-favorite Bumblebee.

All of the photos are below. What do you guys think of the new cars for 2014's Transformers 4? Now that Mark Wahlberg has taken the lead role, I'm actually excited to see what he and Michael Bay can do with the franchise.

[Video] Much Ado About Nothing "I am an Ass" Clip

Joss Whedon is no stranger to geek circles. The creator of such highly-acclaimed TV series as Buffy the Vampire SlayerAngelFirefly, and others, Whedon entered the majority of peoples' radars when he directed 2012's record breaking blockbuster, The Avengers. Unbeknownst to many people is that he also short, wrote, produced, and directed a black and white modern adaptation of William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing directly after shooting ceased for the superhero film.

Shot during a relatively short 12 day schedule, Whedon's retelling of the Shakespeare classic stars a who's who of Whedon collaborators, including Nathan Fillion (Firefly), Amy Acker (Dollhouse), Alexis Denisof (Buffy), Clark Gregg (The Avengers), Fran Kanz (The Cabin in the Woods), and Sean Maher (Firefly). Much Ado About Nothing is about a a bumbling police constable, Dogberry (Fillion), who must investigate a scheme being plotted by Don John (Maher). In the clip below, aptly titled "I Am an Ass," Dogberry reacts hilariously to being called an ass by one of Don John's supporters, Conrade (Niki Lindhome).

Fans of Whedon will appreciate his sense of humor, especially when juxtaposed with Shakespeare's style of writing comedies. The black and white also helps create a film noir vibe to contrast with the adherence to Shakespearean language. Much Ado About Nothing will be coming to theaters on June 7th for a limited theatrical release.
