[Mixtape] Najee - From Water To Wine
We've previewed a few tracks and a video from New York-based emcee Najee in the past weeks, and at long last his project, From Water to Wine, is available for download. The mixtape features production by Ski Beatz, Grand Staff, and others with guest verses from Rugz D. Bewler, Nitty Scott, MC and more. Brooklyn Projects teamed up with Nike SB on a Dunk High and brought the once overused silhouette back into the limelight. Coming in a broww/red/black colorway with a lighter brown sole, the shoe will drop in stores June 2011. This is sure to bring the campers and sneakerfreaks out so mark your calender if you want in. The Weeknd: House of Balloons
Here's a dope new project from a mysterious Toronto-based collective called The Weeknd. Consisting on a singer and a slew of producers, the group dropped their debut project House of Balloons on Sunday night with minimal hype, save a serious cosign from fellow Toronto native Drake. If you liked the Frank Ocean project that dropped a month ago, you'll definitely like this. I'm suprisingly into this new wave of more accessible r&b/pop music that's been coming out recently.
