Gunplay: "The Hard Way"

Gunplay

MMG's wildest member, Gunplay, is back doing music even though he's currently under house arrest. His troubles did not stop him from issuing a simple warning for those that don't know he's up next, telling them they'll have to find out the "Hard Way" as the title of his latest single clearly states. Cops N' Robbers out soon.

Meek Mill: "Freak Show" feat. 2 Chainz & DJ Sam Sneak

Here's a bonus cut from Meek Mill's Dreams & Nightmares LP featuring 2 Chainz & DJ Sam Sneak entitled "Freak Show". The track is kind of all over the place with a heavy incline towards snare-rolls, claps and a high tempo, making it clear that it was meant to be played at clubs across America. Meek's debut album sold 167, 000 copies in its first week out, good enough to land at #2 on the charts.

A$AP Bamz

[Video] Bodega Bamz: "Thrilla" feat. Flatbush Zombies

A$AP Bamz

Two of New York's most prominent up-and-coming acts, TANBOYS's Bodega Bamz & the Flatbush Zombies, linked up to release this sick new visual for their collaborative joint, "Thrilla", off Bamz' Stricly For My P.A.P.I.Z. mixtape. Veteran director Rik Cordero is behind the lens and gives the video the appropriate grimy hardcore feel to match perfectly with the song as the three emcees introduce listeners to the New New York.

Such and Such

DJ Such N Such: "No Broken Promises"

Such and Such

We last heard from DJ Such N Such when his debut mixtape Yesterday Comes Tomorrow dropped back in June, and although he's been relatively quiet since then, he has also been working on some fresh new tunes. Today we finally get new material by the young producer in the form of "No Broken Promises", a chill instrumental with a hint of soulfulness. Such N Such is currently prepping a new project to be released later this winter, don't sleep on it!

Earl Sweatshirt: "Chum"

Earl Sweatshirt

Ever since Earl Sweatshirt returned home, fans have been eager to hear the Odd Future representative thrive on a track like he did on the cult-classic album, Earl. Sure, since his comeback we've already heard material in the form of a solo track and a couple of guest-appearances, but none were close enough to satisfy the listeners' near-impossible expectations.

Suddenly, a lot of people started doubting the young emcee's ability to regain his footing and deliver the product they wanted to hear. Well, yesterday Earl released "Chum" --the first single off his upcoming project--and proved to the naysayers that he still got that "it" factor that forced the media into a frenzy back when OFWGKTA first hopped onto the scene. The record is a very personal one in which he airs out his thoughts on his parents, friends, experiences and self-esteem, all in just under three minutes. We also get to hear Sweatshirt's unique flow, storytelling dexterity and similes like "Feeling as hard as Vince Carter's knee cartilage is" and "Was mobbin deep as 96 Havoc and Prodigy did" adding up to make "Chum" an instant favorite and re-enforce the anticipation for his forthcoming album.

Vic Spencer: "Savior" feat Sulaiman and D2G

Vic Spencer

Although Vic Spencer recently released a very strong project in Walk Away Music, which had zero features--the Chi-Town emcee has always brought out his best arsenal whenever he jumps on a track with other artists. His latest single , "Savior", is no exception. Both Sulaiman & D2G spit a verse each alongside Vic while they talk about hard work and shady acts in the local industry over a smooth Ikaz-produced instrumental. Vic Spencer and the french producer are getting ready to release their long-awaited collaborative effort Spence Ethic and should be out soon!

Martin $ky

Martin $ky: "Gnar"

Martin $ky

Chicago's up-and-comer, Martin $ky, is back with a new loosie named "Gnar". In this self-produced single we see Martin change up his production style, while also keeping the mystique around the instrumental and his raw lyricism.  Martin was working on a new EP called ELOPE, but he has but that project on the backburner. We'll see what's next up for $ky.
