Aleon Craft: "More Than Expected"

The homies over at DJBooth.net keep churning out freestyles and this time they've got Aleon Craft going in over an appropriately spacey track. Aleon has been busy lately and will continue to have a full schedule as he just finished his ATL Stargazing Tour and is planning on releasing a short documentary on himself. On top of this, he's working on his debut album, The Solar Hop Chronicles. Cop the SMKA produced track below.

J. Cole: "Villematic"

Digging the clever title...The boy from Fayetteville, NC has done it again. He puts the 'Ville on his back and delivers a song directed at some of the ills in his life, especially the haters. He swings back at any critics with lines like:

"Sittin' around the middle class homes with computers on hatin' on the newest songs. While y'all was browsin' , I was taking out them student loans trying to do this shit better than the n****s we grew up on."

J. Cole continues to impress me as all of his recent tracks are both lyrically and musically strong. Cop the song below. Enjoy

Watch The Arcade Fire's MSG Performance

This video is going to be up for a limited amount of time. I wasn't going to post on this because it was supposed to be taken down yesterday but it is still up on YouTube. Who knows how much longer this video will be available?

Anyway...the Madison Square Garden show was largely done in support of their newest album The Suburbs. They are an incredible group to watch live because they are overflowing with musical talent. Check out the video below.

Chip Tha Ripper: "From Me to You: The Prelude to Gift Raps" Artwork

Chip is dropping a six song EP before he comes out with his debut album, Gift Raps. Tracks on the EP are produced by Rami, Duke, nVMe, Blended Babies, and Chuck Inglish. Gift Raps will produced exclusively by Chuck Inglish and is set to come out on Labor Day.

R.O.E.: "Sucka N****s"

R.O.E. (or Rising Over Envy) knows where he's from musically. He's dropped some rhymes over one of my favorite tracks off of A Tribe Called Quest's Midnight Marauders in an ode to the legendary group. R.O.E.'s tribute kills the faint jazzy track and has left me wanting to listen to ATCQ and more R.O.E. Cop the track below.

Cee-Lo Green: "F**k You" (Radioaktives Remix)

This kind of music isn't my usual listening material but I've got to admit that I did like this remix. With the help of DJ Jem, The Radioaktives take on the track, giving the song an upbeat club feel. They add a brief verse of their own but even with the track's makeover, they still respect what Cee-Lo's done and never quite lose that feel that the original track had. Check out and download the track below.

Wiz Khalifa: "Black and Yellow"

Wiz is back, dropping his first single on Rostrum/Atlantic.  Someone somewhere got hold of the track and tried to release it early but here's the final version. I can't help but think of "This Plane" when I listen to this song since Wiz's chorus and synth make for such a similar sound. The Taylor Gang general's verses and chorus fit perfectly with this Stargate produced track. Download the track from the Burgh's finest below. Enjoy
