Aleon Craft: "Yoga Flame"
One thing I've learned from listening to Aleon Craft is that you can never be sure what to expect from the Decatur native. "Yoga Flame" proves this. The song is off of The Stargazing Soundtrack mixtape. Just when you think you've got "Yoga Flame" figured out, the song turns on you and switches from trippy, space-like sound to a heavily distortioned guitar driven jam. The mixtape is set to drop on 8/16 and it is going to have a bunch of features from Decatur locals and friends like Nappy Roots, Hollyweerd, Mikkey Halsted, and many more. A bit late on this one. Thanks Lollapalooza... Here's the official video for "I'll Be Gone" off ¡MAYDAY!'s upcoming album, Stuck on an Island. The visuals are stunning and the colors are vivid but the lighting and events seen in the video make for a darker feel. The video was produced and edited by Joke and co-directed by ¡MAYDAY! Mac Miller is blowing up. With his mixtape, entitled "K.I.D.S." dropping in two days (8/13), he's flooding the web with songs and videos. "Good Evening" a new joint from the Pittsburgh kid that uses sampling and some childhood references reminiscent of Chiddy Bang. Mac delivers clever line after clever line on this one each one telling listeners why he's worthy of their time.

Big Sean Releases Finally Famous Vol. 3: B.I.G. Trailer
Big Sean released this trailer today on his blog. The trailer gives listeners some new music and a few looks of Sean in the studio. Sean speaks on how fortunate he is to be able to work with the likes of No I.D. and Kanye on a mixtape. This will be his third mixtape and the last one before the release of his album, Finally Famous. Check out the trailer after the jump.
Weezer's New Album Cover
I was pretty surprised when I first saw the new album art for their upcoming album. Now it's your turn to be surprised. The album, entitled Hurley, has the mug of actor Jorge Garcia on the cover. Garcia played the goofy and likeable Hurley on ABC's Lost. When asked about the cover, Rivers Cuomo replied, "We just wanted to use that picture of Jorge Garcia's face on the cover. It's such an amazing album cover, and we didn't want to have any other words on it, so we just figured everyone was going to call it Hurley, so that's what we call it." The album is due out September 14 on Epitaph.

Yonas: "Y'all Know"

The young, NYC-based rapper is pleading for a chance. Yonas delivers a lyrical resumè on a more a pop/mainstream sounding track . Sean Devine creates a synth and brass track that is not too complex and compliments Yonas' hook to make a for a catchy tune. Yonas has an untitled project due out sometime this fall.
