Nike Sportswear Always On Event Recap
Nike Sportswear rolled out their "Always On" winter campaign last Sunday in grand style. Taking place at Nike's Chicago Headquarters, NSW unveiled their Destroyer Jacket as well as their ACG Conquer boots (pictured above). The launch event included vignettes, a product showing, and a dope live performance from the AF1 collective of DJ Big Once, DJ 33 1/3, drummer Greg Landfair (Kids These Days), producer Thelonious Martin, and producer Stefan Ponce. The tastemaker crowd enjoy free food and drinks, as an eclectic who's who of Chicago was in the house. They even let me attend (zing). Hit the jump for more pics.

[News] The Beastie Boys Make The Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame
It took a few years of rejection, and a rallying cry from Chuck D, but the Beasite Boys will finally join the Rock N' Roll Hall and Fame come April of 2012. They will be inducted with a class that includes the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns N' Roses, Faces/Small Faces, Laura Nyro, and Donovan. I'm happy to see the Beastie Boys join the hall, and hopefully more of Hip Hop's elderstatemen will follow. It should be noted that Eric B. and Rakim were nominated but did not make the final vote. Hopefully next year for them.
The induction ceremony will take place April 14th in Cleveland.
[Song] Chance The Rapper: "Windows"
You know the scene from "The Simpsons" when all the kids are playing outside in the snow and Bart Simpson is stuck in his room finishing a book report? That's kind of the scene that comes to mind listening to "Windows" off Chance The Rapper's #10Day project. The album was written during a 10-day suspension from high school, and this song features Chance snuffing off the punishment, questionable math grades, and other ills, envisioning summer beaches, tees, and rolling the windows down on Lake Shore Drive. It will be a minute til that happens again, for now, enjoy "Windows" after the jump.

I was talking to Steve from The Hood Internet last night and he mentioned this collection the Hood put together with clothing brand Mishka. The new mixtape is 14 Hood Internet productions, many of them have been floating around previously, but now they are all neatly packaged here. The Hood Internet have a few projects already finished for next year, more info on that soon.
