Def Jam

This is dope and all, but how do you have a Def Jam cover without LL Cool J, The Beastie Boys, Russell Simmons...I'm just asking...Can I at least get a Keith Murray in this b**ch?

J*Davey: "End Of Your World (Mama's Back)

J*Davey is prepping their new album, New Designer Drug, and here's something from said project.  They have a video for this joint, and Legend let go of the mp3...The song makes good use of some 'yeah, yeah, yeahs' and has some words of wisdom.  Don't go messing around between 3-5PM when you get home from school and your mom's not home from work yet.  We all know the mad dash to put whatever it is away when you start to hear that key turn...I had a dog that would bark every time the apartment building door opened, which always kept me relatively out of trouble.  Shouts to Caesar for that one, RIP bro...hopefully you're chilling in dog heaven right now...download the new J*Davey below and check out our interview with them here.

Wale: "Bittersweet" featuring Colin Munroe

Wale

Colin Munroe and Wale made music gold with "Will I Stay".  They team up again on "Bittersweet Life" released by Wale via his favorite distribution company: his twitter page.  Awesome!  It's a good thing Wale threw this one out for free, cause, anyone familiar with "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve (which this song samples) knows that The Verve lost all their money cause the song samples a Rolling Stone's number.  And as everyone knows, you don't f**k with a Mick Jagger pay check...Be careful Wale, maybe not even Mark Ronson's pockets are deep enough for the economical wrath that is Keith Richards and his team of copyright lawyers...Anyway, Grab it below and let us know how this "Bittersweet" stands up to the one done by Kanye West and John Mayer.
