LDRS 1354 Unveil Food Inspired Fitteds

Leaders 1354

Leaders 1354 has become a fashion staple in Chicago, and over the weekend they unveiled their newest fitteds, inspired by two food staples of the Windy City.  Modeling pizza and sandwiches, the streetwear brand gives us the "Deep Dish" and the "Italian Beef" both designed with colorways matching the aforementioned eats.  You can get these starting on October 10th at both locations and online at their website.

Original Fake Halloween 2009

Original Fake

I'm not really the biggest Halloween fan.  I usually end up being something simple like "Adam Sandler" or a "Beastie Boy", something that requires little to no "costume".  This year I'm battling between going as Stretch Armstrong or maybe John Tuturro from "Rounders"...Anyway, Original Fake hits us with their Halloween 2009 tee, which is pictured above and will be available soon.

David Banner: "Something Is Wrong" (prod. by 9th Wonder)

David Banner

"They call it the trap, cause most hoods are just that..."

I got this song over the weekend, and meant to post it earlier, but didn't get a proper chance.  The second time around it hits the RH pages.  David Banner has teamed up with 9th Wonder for a project called "Death of The Pop Star".  It is aimed at creating music based off real issue, and judging from the title, won't contain much boasting and bragging.  This track, "Something's Wrong" was done a short time ago, and was inspired by the brutal killing of Derrion Albert, an honor roll student from Chicago who was beaten to death by a mob of students.  Banner follows Nas in speaking out against the tragedy, as Nas penned a letter to Chicago's youth and also appeared on CNN.  Hit the jump for David Banner's song as well as Nas' appearance.

Gucci Mane: "Wasted" featuring Plies Video

Gucci Mane

Jerry Azumah's favorite song gets the proper video treatment.  Don't easily dismiss this track featuring two of the more clear-pronunciation-challenged rappers, as Plies takes a good time and adds sociological importance to it with the race and alcohol line "I don't wear tight jeans like the white boys, but I do get wasted like the white boys."  Well-done, Plies, well-done...Check out the video below, we'll keep you updated on Plies' move for a phd in cultural studies.
