The Procussions: "The Fringe"
The Procussions are back with some newness today in the form of "The Fringe". As a guitar riff sets the done, heavy drums immediately emerge as do the powerful lyrics, that perfectly depict the "Custodian Rap" that embodies LA based duo of Mr. J. Medeiros and Stro Elliot. Stream below.
Kendrick Lamar: "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" (Remix) Feat. Jay-Z
Today we get the CDQ remix to Kendrick Lamar's "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" Featuring Jay-Z. We first heard Young Guru premiere this at SXSW Last week, and today Kendrick steps with new verses, while allowing Hova to jump on one well. Haha "Allowing". I feel like Jay knows exactly when he wants to hop on something, and it evidently says something for him to hop on this one from K.Dot. The hype will only continue. TDE
[Video] Bodega BAMZ: "SAY AMEN" feat. A$AP Ferg
Bodega BAMZ is back with some new visuals for his track "SAY AMEN" feat. A$AP Ferg. A$AP really takes this Lord$ steez very seriously and this video features a church, monk-esque looking men and plenty of long robes. I'm not too familiar with BAMZ, but I've grown into really likely Fergs unique approach to the game as of late. The song knocks, so stream that below and download his project Strictly 4 My P.A.P.I.Z.

Sony Registers 13 New Daft Punk Songs
Daft Punk fans are very serious. They also happen to be very computer savvy. The site the Daft Club has evidence from Sony (which owns Columbia Records) has registered 13 untitled tracks via PPL, the UK-based organization that licenses recorded music and distributes royalties. The leak before the leak... I'm pumped. See the breakdown of the tracks below.

10 Essential Nate Dogg Tracks: #RIPNateDogg
March is always one of the most saturated month in Hip-Hop. From the major label push to cement a successful summer, to the powerful days that surround Biggie's anniversary, and the hectic hype that embodies SXSW, the industry and fans alike are up to their heads in content, as we near the summer which only seems a blink of an eye away. Much like the music that he tirelessly created, the tragic day of March 15th, 2011 death is vastly forgotten, overlooked, or simply shrugged off by far too many influencers in today's rap climate.
The sonically pleasing, ultra-original, lyrics scribed across countless era's, and sub-genres in Hip-Hop over his 15+ year career, Nate's legacy is honestly unprecedented in today's industry. Everyone can rattle off Nate's contributions to others tracks, single-handedly creating hits, undoubtably one of (if not) the best to ever lace a hook. In honor of Nate, I wanted to simply feature 10 Essential Nate Dogg songs. The tracks are all Nate Dogg's solo records, as an entirely different post is needed to honor his guest appearances.
