Alluded to in their recent debut of their video series, The Collage, THEMpeople today release their first installment of their beat tape series. Smoke Breaks is insanely smooth, drawing on influences ranging from soul to the growing lo-fi movement. The short EP pulls them all together into a cohesive 8 tracks, which the artists themselves refer to as “glitch soul” or “soul fi”.
