Big L

Big L has built a cult like following amongst Hip Hop heads.  The Harlem born emcee, who died way before his time when was murder in 199 at the tender age of 24, is often mentioned in top 5 emcee lists, as well as Myspace page “influences” (for those who use Myspace).  While a few Big L releases have popped up since his death, none have been official beyond his sophomore LP, The Big Picture (released in 2000).  Ten years after The Big Picture, Big L’s family is set to release a brand new LP featuring 21 unreleased songs put together in the form of The Return of The Devil’s Son.  Big L’s brother Donald Phinazee said, “This album is supported 100% by the Big L family…  I’ve been talking about this album for the last six years and it means everything to me. This is an original Big L album and I’m excited to put my brother out.”

The album will hit stores on November 23rd via SMC Recordings and Distrolord Inc.  Hit the jump for the tracklist.
