Jack White announced in the spring that he was going to hit the studio with Black Milk, and create some Hip Hop music for White’s Third Man Records. The joints are now finished and hit iTunes today. Below we have a stream of “Royal Mega” which is the b-side of the 7-inch that Third Man has released. The A-Side is “Brain” and you can hear that one right here. Both songs are fueled by classic funk grooves, and feel more like White entering Black Milk’s world than vice versa. These could easily have ended up on Album of The Year. They’re solid records, but lack any real surprise factors. Check out “Royal Mega” below.
