I’ve been a fan of Calle 13 for a while now and I always look forward to them dropping new music. Rene Perez, the lead rapper of the group, is probably one of the dopest Spanish speaking rappers to grace the mic. His lyrics are usually politically charged, filled with satire, and fierce on the lyricisim.
“Calma Pueblo”, their new single, addresses the music industry, record labels, governments, the Catholic church and others in power who try to oppress people and make them do what they want.
