Calumet Photographic Is Coming Back

Back in March we posted about Calumet Photographic’s abrupt closing and filing of Chapter 7 bankruptcy and thought we witnessed the end of the popular business. The company decided to shut down all of its stores in the US, leaving many customers and employees shocked without jobs and unfulfilled orders. Now, it looks like Calumet will be making a comeback with C&A Marketing recently buying all of the company’s US assets. The information is still relatively new and no one knows exactly what the future will hold for Calumet and what C&A Marketing’s plan is going forward. As of right now, it is known that some of the locations may open back up, but unfortunately not all of them will. The Calumet website will be back up and running again, but no word as to when it will be reactivated. It will be interesting to see what the future will hold for the company. We’ll see if it will be able to bounce back after leaving many people with a sour taste in their mouth.
