Spencer Pratt...WTF...
"I'm not you, I don't need the tattoos/all my ink is on my checks..."
Will someone, on behalf of the craft of making music, the culture of Hip Hop, and just making the world a better place, please stop this dude?...wow...disappointed, not surprised...And if you want more on Spencer Pratt and his budding rap career (I'm envisioning a tour with Joaquin Phoenix), you can check out Complex where they did an interview with him. Entering the game as any white emcee should, he takes aim at Asher Roth...In the words of Peter Rosenberg (interview coming soon), white on white hate in Hip Hop has got to stop...Hating on this man, and his ego-driven assault on musical integrity should proceed at maximum speed...Also, don't think I didn't notice that this is probably the theme song for that god awful Celebreality show about quasi-famous lowlifes being stuck on an island somewhere that our sorry ass ex-Governor was going to be on...

Sky Larkin: "Matador (Lull's Channel Switch Mix)
A perfect song for a day like this. Sky Larkin's "Matador" gets the remix treatment, and the result is a song that will appeal to indie rock enthusiasts, and Hip Hop heads alike. In fact, put this in the playlist next to some Reflection Eternal, and you won't be disappointed...This song reminds me of "Automatic" by Mickey Factz, my favorite from "It's Mickey". Download "Matador" below courtesy of RCRD LBL.

El Michels Affair: "Duel Of The Iron Mics"
From our good friends at Audible Treats:
El Michels Affair's collection of instrumental covers of fifteen Clan classics, Enter The 37th Chamber, has been helping Wu-Tang fans realize their dreams. The soulful instrumentals providefans with the chance to spit their own verses to their favorite beats, in the privacy of our own homes of course. The latest candidate for a vocal makeover, "Duel Of The Iron Mics," is from GZA's 1995 solo release Liquid Swords and features fellow Wu-Tang members Ol' Dirty Bastard, Masta Killa, and Inspectah Deck. El Michels captures this RZA beat to a "T," complete with the droning bass line, menacing piano melody and string arrangements, and even quotations from the cult samurai film Shogun Assassin.
Download "Duel of The Iron Mics" below, and you can and should pick up the full project right here.
