Brother Ali recently sat down with our homies at KarmaLoop at the House of Blues. Ali says some real things here, as he speaks on the cultural differences between himself and his fans, as well as the human condition which overrides those differences and serves as the connecting link. It's a theme that Ali also spoke on during The Champion EP, on which he raps, 'imagine what a trip it is rapping for hick ass kids who think Hip Hop was invented by Mr. Dibbs...but those are the loves that show us love, so I guess I owe them my existence and s**t." RH Events: DJ RTC & Friends Live @ Do Division Festival
It's official, DJ RTC will be setting up shop at next weekend's Do Division Street Festival with a special live set. He'll be joined on stage in a live mixtape-ish fashion by Chicago's top Hip Hop artists including Phil G, Mick Luter, Really Doe, Mikkey Halsted, Project Mayhem, Primeridian, Mic Terror, Naledge, and Rhymefest. Mike 100's will be doing the hosting honors, and there will be food, drinks, vendors etc. as Do Division Fest is a large street festival spanning Division St. from Ashland to Western. This stage is located @ 2121 W. Division by the car wash. Don't miss it...
